Retail and business centres shape a modern city: they are designed on open plots without the old constraints. Some sites, though, are converted buildings in the historic centre or with a former use. New complexes and reconstructions both need modern engineering: comfort for people and water quality in every building system.
Not only drinking water is regulated. All domestic water in life-support systems should meet Kazakhstan hygiene rules and European BWT standards.
People spend almost half their active time in a business centre. Good water at the dispensers removes the need for bottled supply and coolers. For class A this is part of the product being leased: tenants take space more readily where water is solved as a system.
Shopping centre
A mall is a crowd. A food court and washrooms are the baseline; staying there should be comfortable and safe. The rules apply to drinking water and to water in every pipe. Catering kitchens are sized separately.
Building engineering systems
Besides drinking, specially treated water is needed for air-conditioning and heating of the whole building. Selecting the process and plant is BWT engineering on the raw-water analysis, flow and available plant room.
Tailored solutions for retail and business centres
BWT is built around a tailored answer: the plant should meet the standards and the client’s wishes. Dialogue already at a simple schematic stage matters.
BWT Kazakhstan designs, supplies, installs and services the site. We use the group’s own equipment:
- Automatic water softeners
- Iron, manganese and hydrogen sulphide removal
- Sorption — odour, taste and colour
- Ultraviolet disinfection
